A Well Deserved First Outing

For my first ever D&D adventure, my friends all helped walk me through the 3.5 character creation rules. Once my Human Ranger was created, I joined the party in the middle of the dungeon as the backup they had requested.

At this time the party was resting in a room that had a large well situated near its center. Rolling a very good Listen check, I heard some people below and figured that the best way to surprise the bad guys (and be cool in front of my friends) would be do something epic to jump down the well and attack.
